FASTEig contains reference implementations of several algorithms for solving large-scale sparse algebraic eigenvlaue problems. These problems arise from a variety of DOE science applications. The development of FASTEig is part of the FASTMath project supported by U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Scientific Discovery through Advanced Computing (SciDAC) initiative.
FASTEig developers partner with application scientists to develop and deploy efficient algorithms that can take advantage of special structures of the application.
FASTEig developers also collaborate with computer scientists in the SciDAC RAPIDS Institute to optimize the performance of eigensolvers on DOE leadership class high performance computers.
